Sweet GREAT Grandma Whitaker

One of the joys of spending time at Nana and Papa's house for a few weeks, was the privilege of being with Great Grandma Whitaker. She is so whitty and sweet to the kids.  We just love her!

 

Weekend to Bear River Lodge

We took a fun weekend and went with Nana, Papa and Spencer up to the Bear River Lodge in Wyoming.  This added yet another state to our summer travels!

Utah Summer 2012

After our great cruise and quick visit with our Arizona cousins, we got back in the car and headed to Utah.  We spent a three weeks here, two of which without Joseph while he traveled to Idaho for a week of training, and then on to New Mexico for his first week at the office.

The week that Joseph was here we had to take the kids to the BYU campus.  SO fun to walk around and take the kids to buy a shirt!


      

Then, we couldn't leave campus without taking the kids to the Creamery.  YUM!

 

 

 

 

Then on to visit Sharla and Jeff and their moneky's, and Jacob and Rebekah!  How fun!

After Joseph left, we kept ourselves busy ... getting rides from papa,

visiting old friends,

and the kids even took swimming lessons while we were there!

 

 

 

 

 

Sweet grandma loved to give the kids rides on her walker, and she sang to them funny songs as she went around the house!

 

 

 

Family Night up Maple Mountain

I really enjoy spending a little time in the mountains!  It was so fun to go ten minutes away from Nana and Papa's house and enjoy a FHE in nature!  We had a great group -- Grandma and Grandpa Durrans, Gma Whitaker, Nana and Papa, Josh and Katie, Jacob and Rebekah, Jordan, and the Liechty cousins.  So fun!
