Today was Kiah's first day as a Kindergarten student at Edgewood Elementary. Kiah is a very special girl. She has been waiting for this day for a long time. Me, on the other hand was very sad to see her go (I wasn't the only one - Malea and Eva will miss her too). We started out the day with a "Boo Hoo" Breakfast in Bed. Boo Hoo - for us!
Here is her teacher Mrs. Catarinella.

Our Month Away - part 2
Picnic with Grandma and Grandpa GreatGreat Grandma and Grandpa Adams with 21 of their 25 great-grandkids.
Precious MomentMy kids and I had a very special dinner with both sets of grandparents and all of the living great-grandparents. We were very lucky that all were available and willing to get together for dinner and a few pictures. A day or two after this picture was taken great grandpa Adams was diagnosed with a stage 5 melanoma. He has been very sick and is currently in the hospital. He turned 89 on August 22nd, the day he was admitted. We were extremely lucky to have had the special chance to visit with him as a family before leaving to return to Pittsburgh. This chance will probably not happen again on this side of the veil.

Pool Fun
The babies had their first swimming fun and yes, Kiah even got to learn how to scuba dive in papa's pool. It doesn't get better than that!!
Bear River Lodge
We spent our last week at my parents cabin in Christmas Meadow at the Bear River Lodge. It was beautiful and a fun adventure for the kids.Yes, this is my sister Tricia's son who is only 6 months older than the twins (he is 28lbs.)
The squealing girl pic is my favorite!
