This was Malea's "last thing" to say as I was putting them to bed tonight:
Malea: "Mom, I was wondering who is on the good and bad list ... because ... I might be on both!"

Thanksgiving 2010
We had the chance to travel this Thanksgiving to visit my sister and her family in Ann Arbor, MI. The food was delicious, the cousins had a BLAST just playing and Tricia and I got in a much anticipated black friday shopping trip (it was a little cold at 3:30 am - but we got almost everything we were out for!). WE haven't done that in years - it was so much fun!
Tricia made her very first turkey - and did a great job!
We even got to spend time with my cousin Wendy and her family.
The kids made their own hats!
And ... they can't go anywhere without putting on some kind of show before everyone leaves!
Farwell cousins!

Super Sister
So, Malea came into my bedroom this morning and said the following:
"Mom I am ready to go to school."
She had gotten dressed, got the babies out of their beds and changed their diapers (yes, she really did), got both babies dressed (and she even put a little cardigan on Talee over her shirt and buttoned only the second button down - perfect). Then she got cereal out and got bowls for Eva and the twins (there wasn't even a disaster when I came down) - AND, she emptied the dishwasher (her JOB!). She had her backpack and coat ready to go!
Did I mention this was all before Kiah or I were out of bed (at 7:45). It's no surprise I'm not a morning person (and suffering from a bit of a cold/sinus infection) - but this is NOT a typical morning!
But I have to say - Malea you are a SUPER SISTER! THANK YOU and please, please, please keep it up!

Family Pics 2010
We love the fall here in Pittsburgh. It takes a lot of work for us to take family pictures so they usually only happen once a year, and this is the time we LOVE to do it! We are saving a few of our favorites for our Christmas cards, but this will give you a sneak peak! Thanks to a special friend here who took them for us.
