"Love at Home" Family Date Video

We had a Family Home Evening several months ago on creating "love at home." We created a chart so when the girls did things to make our home happy, they got to put a sticker inside the beautifully (beauty is in the eye of the beholder) drawn picture of a home. The girls would get stickers for doing their jobs, for doing kind things to others, going the extra mile, etc. The stickers for this chart were pretty small, and they worked really hard at finishing it. This week while Joseph had his one week break from school, the chart was completed and we all went on our much anticipated family date. We took the kids to the Carnegie Science Center and then to lunch (the girls very, very rarely get kids meals - so this for them was a treat in itself) and ice cream. I think it was a success, and Kiah and Malea even got to jump on the big trampoline and go on a simulation ride too.

So Malea looks so old in that picture of her holding the baby (I can't remember which one)!! When did she grow up on us?? That storage rm is great! I need one of those, but first I guess I need a kitchen a little more... sigh. Soon!
